• ISO9001 Certification and Operation Sasebo Shipyard has obtained Quality Management System certification based on the ISO9001 standard, and aims to achieve a level of quality in its manufacturing processes that will satisfy its customers.

Sasebo Shipyard’s Quality Policy:
 
1.

We endeavor to increase customer satisfaction by seeking to improve our standards of quality and service so that we may offer products that can live up to the trust placed in us by our customers.

We define and implement annual quality targets and action plans

We aim to achieve efficient operation of our systems, including in seeking to continually improve our Quality Management System.

To achieve the fulfillment of our Quality Policy, we thoroughly implement the following:
1.

Place an emphasis on our customers, and ensure that all employees and affiliates are aware of the importance of catering to the requests and demands of our customers.

2.

Observe and follow the requirements of rules, regulations and standards.

3.

Determine annual quality targets for the entire shipyard based on our Quality Policy; set separate targets by department (or office) based on the company-wide quality targets and carry out regular follow-up checks of progress towards meeting these targets.

4.

Carry out regular management reviews, and work to continuously improve the effectiveness of our Quality Management System.

5.

Clearly specify the necessary management resources required to operate our Quality Management System, and make these resources available as necessary.
