The scope of public investment has increased with the development of new forms of transportation and the rapid expansion of road and rail networks in Japan in recent years, enabling us to carry out constructional work in such areas throughout the country.

We are now ready to expand these activities into overseas markets on the basis of techniques we have developed and the experience we have gained,

The products which we wish to build and supply are those which meet the needs of society. Products which are of outstanding quality, yet low in price because they have been made efficiently and well through the application of advanced technologies.

In 1998, we obtained the ISO9001 international quality standard in relation to bridges and water gates.

Shin-Sakuragaoka Bridge, Kanto Regional Construction Bureau, Hirase Bridge, Fukuoka Defense Facilities Administration Bureau, etc.

In order to win customer confidence, and assisted by leading authorities, we have increased the size of our construction work and have teams constantly studying the latest developments in bridge construction, including very long-large bridges.

The construction of extra-long bridges has increased rapidly in Japan in recent years through development of the "Large Block Construction Method", which has enabled the construction of bridges connecting the main roads of several remote islands. One such bridge is the Ikitsuki Bridge in Nagasaki Prefecture.

The company has also constructed many small and medium-sized bridges, railroad bridges, pedestrian bridges, aqueduct bridges for water resources development, floating pontoons for car ferries, steel bridge piers and other special structures.

Dams supply the water for hydraulic power generation and to meet the demands of the public water supply for agriculture and industry, , all of which are indispensable to economic growth and human life.

Hydraulic gates and steel penstocks play an important role in the control of flood waters, water-utilization schemes and flood-prevention for the control of water intake, and the prevention of and protection against high tides and tidal waves.

We have already constructed a large number of these items to date, and won official commendation from the Kyushu Regional Construction Bureau, Japan for the excellent construction work we performed on the crest gates for the Yabakei Dam Project.

Moreover, we intend to improve our standards of technology by developing super-high pressure gates, surface water intake gates and larger diameter steel penstocks and manifold pipes.

At the same time, we have been steadily expanding our foothold in Southeast Asian and South America and have already carried out projects in those areas.

An example of one of our extra large projects is the Indonesian Cirata Hydroelectric Power Project, in which 4,940 tons of steel was used; 2,440 tons for the steel penstocks and 2,500 tons for water gates and similar items.
